Many Indian people are vegetarian, and me too, for a long time. But! The fact that they know how to cook cakes, pies, cookies, vegetable cutlets – all without eggs, and potato patties just from potatoes alone (without any flour), broke the stereotype in my mind. In my country everyone is used to think that without eggs ingredients won’t hold together. Therefore, I was also accustomed to this statement.
Today I have the recipe of eggless chocolate cake for you, which tastes no different from the usual one:

- Mix in bowl:
220 grams of wheat flour;
100 grams of cocoa powder;
1.5 tsp of baking soda;
1.5 tsp of baking powder;
- Grind everything through a sieve and set aside a bowl with dry ingredients;
- In another bowl mix:
280 grams of sugar;
100 grams of oil (ideally coconut oil, but any other oil without the smell is also good);
Mix well, then add:
120 grams of yogurt;
120 ml of milk;
1 tsp of vinegar;
A pinch of vanilla or/and cinnamon powder according to your taste;
- Mix 1-2 tsp of instant coffee in 180 ml of hot water and add it to the liquid ingredients;
- Thoroughly mix dry and liquid ingredients;
- Bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
- The cake is ready!
*According to your taste you can add nuts or/and dry fruits inside of cake, cover cake with cream or decorate it with fruits.
